Andrew Sullivan is not impressed by the state of journalism and the current enthusiasm around native advertising, mostly because he believes they’ve long since crossed the “clearly marked and delineated” line: “If they wanted not to deceive, they would have these as ads, not as paid posts.”

Oh, so it’s being suggested by media agencies that the large publisher doesn’t always have a coherent product strategy across all their various properties? Oh. “Tumblr isn’t coming through strong in RFP responses we get back from Yahoo; it’s certainly not a centerpiece.”
