Jack Dorsey and the Golden Gate, Dave Grohl Inspiration, and Other Things We Shared This Week

By , on March 22, 2013 at 10:40 am

Every week, the Rallyverse team shares their favorite stuff from the Internet with the world. Strap yourselves in, folks.

Joe Doran

It is not surprising that the most engaging post I shared this week was about a old MSFT colleague moving on to take a huge job at GoDaddy!  I had a ton of follows after this post – reconnecting w/ old MSFT pals. Good stuff

Huge Congrats to James Carroll and Big Moves at Y!

Gabe Bevilacqua

Because (1) March Madness (!!!!) and (2) the part where our system of higher education doubles as a minor league for the entertainment business (with free labor!) is actually pretty counterintuitive.

Yaniv Dasasa

A few words of inspiration from one of my favorite musicians at SXSW.

Seamus Condron

I’m not sure if Jack Dorsey will ever be mayor of NYC, but his philosophy about product design — which prominently feature the Golden Gate Bridge — is simple and inspiring.

Jason Reynolds

It’s been a hard day of debugging and this hilarious post is going to get me through the rest of the day. The best quote: “Paul’s startup-processing engine has moved out of his frontal lobe into his autonomous nervous system and no longer requires conscious thought. He “thinks” about a startup in the same way you “think” about dilating your pupils in the dark.”

Kathryn Doran

So many options to choose from this week. The interwebs were full of Nerd drama at sendgrid, press about Google’s new product Keep and let’s not forget MARCH MADNESS (I am currently in the lead of the Rallyverse office pool by the way, those boys are going down). Instead of drama or sports I am going to share the genius of a 17 year old boy. Everyone loves a cinderella, er, nerd wins the girl story. Big points to Jake Davidson for his video asking the beautiful Kate Upton to his prom. Favorite line? “Kate, we can ride around all night long, until 11, that’s my curfew”. How could a girl say no to that?
