“Old-Fashioned” Tech: Rallyverse, Keywords, and Mad Men

We’re excited to announce a brand new enhancement to Rallyverse profiles: keywords.

Rallyverse profiles now supports up to 25 keywords or phrases. Account administrators have complete control to modify their keywords in real-time, so if there’s a new trending topic you want to talk about (or one you don’t), you can make a very quick adjustment and new content recommendations will surface in your deck.

In terms of how best to format your keywords and phrases, it’s just like searching for something on Google or Bing. Depending on the topic you want to generate content suggestions for, you can use more traditional keywords, such as the name of a person, an event, or even something more specific.

We recently gave the new keywords feature the “Mad Men” test in conjunction with the premiere of season six. We entered in the names of the show’s characters, as well as more targeted terms like “mad men recap” and more fun terms like “mad men cocktails.”

Even with relatively straightforward keywords you see in the image above, Rallyverse generated some amazing Mad Men-focused content. What delighted us even more was the fact that in addition to outlets we were pretty familiar with, we got results from sources we otherwise wouldn’t visit on a regular basis. That’s what they call serendipity, folks. An Old-Fashioned for everyone!

We’ve got some other new enhancements we’ll be sharing with you in the very near future, so stay tuned.
